Holiday Lets – Conditions of Booking

Paying for your holiday

Booking Deposit: 25% of the fee is required at the time of booking.
Cleaning Deposit: £100.00 per booking is to be paid with the balance of your booking.

We except cash, cheques (made payable to Penrose Holiday Park) and credit and debit card payments can be taken in the office and over the phone.

FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE EIGHT WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO RE-LET THE UNIT IF THE BALANCE IS NOT PAID IN FULL WITHIN THIS TIME.

DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Booking Deposit
This deposit reserves your booking until eight weeks prior to your arrival, when the full balance is due. This money is deducted from the total balance of your holiday and is therefore non-refundable.

Cleaning Deposit
Covers any breakages, shortages or any stubborn stains on carpets, bedding, upholstery etc…and/or if extra cleaning is required if needed. Should there not be any problems with the caravan following inspection after your departure the full amount will be returned within 7 days of your departure either by credit card refund or cheque.

Refunds
Please note that the dates booked are the dates you need to pay for. We do not give refunds for late arrivals or early departures for any reason. If you will not be arriving on your booked arrival day, you must inform us immediately or you may loose your booking.

Holiday Insurance
We advise that you take out your own travel insurance to cover costs in the case of cancelling your holiday.

Arriving and departing
Bookings are from 4PM on the day of arrival to10AM on the day of departure. Latest arrival is 8PM.

Occupancy
The total number in the party should not exceed the number of beds in the static caravan.

Bedding
Under no circumstances should any bedding or other items be taken out of the static caravan. A charge will be made if items are damaged or missing. A full inventory is taken at the start and end of your holiday with us.

Dogs
We have one caravan which we allow dogs in if you wish to bring your dog please inform us at the time of booking to ensure you reserve this caravan. Dogs can not be left unattended in the caravan during the day or night

Smoking: Strictly NO SMOKING in any of our caravans.

Conditions of Booking a Pitch

Paying for your holiday

We except cash, cheques (made payable to Penrose Holiday Park) and credit and debit card payments can be taken in the office and over the phone. We do not except cheque payments on arrival, cash or card only please.

Refunds
Please note that the dates booked are the dates you need to pay for. We do not give refunds for late arrivals or early departures for any reason, especially weather.

Arriving
Bookings are strictly from Midday on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure. We do not have a waiting area so please do not arrive before midday.

Pitch Allocation
We will always try to allocate your preferred pitch but due to unforeseen circumstances we can not guarantee that the pitch booked will be the pitch allocated on arrival.

Groundsheets
Must be breathable to help protect our grass. Strictly no non-breathable ground sheets on site. Anyone using carpet or any other means of flooring on our grass will be asked to remove it and may be a charged for repairs and seeding.

 

Site Rules

ACCIDENTS:  All accidents must be reported to reception and documented in the park Accident Book.

AMENITIES:  Children must be supervised in the amenity block.  Family rooms are strictly for families only.

Baby Changing Area: Is located in the family rooms, please use the bin provided for dirty nappies.

BBQs: Barbecues are allowed but must be kept off the grass to avoid damage to the pitch.

CHEMICAL TOILETS:  South West Water request that you only use Green Environmentally Friendly Biodegradable Liquids. 

DAMAGE: Anyone found defacing or causing damage to any buildings, equipment or property of the park, faces immediate eviction and prosecution.  This includes graffiti in the play area.

DOGS:  Must be kept on a short lead at all times, except in the doggy field where they can run free. Please ensure any dog mess is picked up and disposed of in the bins provided.  Due to dog fowling last year we request that children not walk dogs on their own, they must be supervised by an adult. 

Pup Tents if booked to go onto your pitch should be no more that 2mtrs x 1.5mtrs (1 man tent or smaller).  Any pup tent/gazebo or day tent should fit on your pitch or we will request that it is taken down.

EMERGENCIES: IF THE EMERGENCY SERVICES ARE REQUIRED PLEASE CALL THEM FIRST
A mobile number is displayed in the reception window this will connect you with whoever is on duty.  If you press WARDEN in the telephone box you will be connected automatically. 

FIRES: Open fires are not permitted anywhere on the park.

Fully Serviced Pitches:
Do not empty toilets down grids on fully serviced pitches – this is not hygienic. The chemical disposal area is behind the toilet block.  If you can not find it, please ask a member of staff.

INSURANCE: All caravans and vehicles parked, stored and moved (by owner or management) on and around the site are parked, stored and moved entirely at the owner’s risk, and the company accept no liability for loss or damage to the property, or injury to the owner and his party, however caused.

NOISE: In respect to others, please use televisions, radios and CD/cassette players at low volume.  No noise between 10pm and 7am.

SPEED LIMIT: Strictly 5mph all over site. 

WASHING LINES: Rotary washing lines are allowed providing they are placed out of view of other guests.  Please do not use the trees to erect lines. 

 If any person(s) (including children) conduct is deemed to be detrimental to the well-being or comfort of other park guests or to the management, or who vandalises, misuses or damages property or facilities shall be held liable and the management reserves the right to refuse a reservation or to terminate a booking without refund.
